FallLineIQ Privacy Policy
FallLineIQ is a ski coaching app made by Viridis North LLC ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the FallLineIQ apps for iPhone and Android and the FallLineIQ website, why, who processes it for us, and the choices you have. We do not sell your information, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
What stays on your phone
When you film or import a run, FallLineIQ tracks your body position on the phone itself. The video is not uploaded unless you choose to save it with your coaching, or a coach uploads a clip of you (see below). The camera and microphone are used only while you film.
What we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers or browsing history, and the apps contain no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs.
Coaching and AI
Coaching is produced on our servers from the run measurements, by our rules engine and, where enabled, by an AI model from one of our service providers (TypeSafe or Anthropic). These models receive the measurements only: no video, no images, no name or email. Coach Chat, the optional AI chat for adults only, sends the messages you type in it (and the earlier messages of that conversation) to Anthropic's Claude to write a reply; it receives no video, images, name or email either. Our providers may use this information only to provide their service to us.
Who processes your information for us
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): sign-in, database, file storage and our server code, in the United States.
- RevenueCat: in-app subscription status for the iPhone and Android apps.
- Stripe: payments on the website.
- Apple and Google: Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, and App Store or Google Play billing, under their own privacy policies.
- TypeSafe and Anthropic: the coaching and chat models described above.
We share information with these providers only so they can provide their service to us. We also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or others.
Coaches and teams
If you join a coach's team, your coach can see your profile, your runs, the coaching you receive and the videos you share, and team members can see team messages. You can leave a team at any time.
Children and teens
FallLineIQ is not directed to children under 13. A child under 13 may use FallLineIQ only through an account owned by a parent or guardian, who signs in, accepts the Terms and uploads the child's runs. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13; if we learn we have, we delete it. A parent or guardian can review or delete the information in their account at any time (see Delete your account) or by writing to us. Users from 13 to 17 should have a parent's or guardian's permission to use FallLineIQ. The AI chat coach is available to adults only.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we promptly delete your profile, run history and coaching, the videos you saved, your journal, the direct messages you sent, team invitations, and your account itself; if you coach, your sessions, clips, team messages and schedule too, and your athletes are released from your team (their own accounts stay). We also delete your customer records at RevenueCat and Stripe. Some information stays: posts you made in another coach's team chat stay with that team, videos a coach filmed of you stay in the coach's account (ask your coach or us to remove them), support requests are kept while we answer them, and Apple, Google and Stripe keep payment records as the law requires, under their own policies.
Your choices and rights
- See and edit your profile in the app, and choose whether to save each run's video.
- Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or as described on Delete your account.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it, by writing to hartjustin6@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example the European Economic Area, the UK or California) you may have further rights, including to object to or restrict processing and to complain to a data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Security
Information travels encrypted (HTTPS) and is stored with access rules that limit each account to its own data and to the coach or team it chose to share with. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you, we will tell you as the law requires.
International users
We store and process information in the United States. If you use FallLineIQ from elsewhere, your information is transferred to the United States.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app before a material change takes effect.
